Sadly Asheville hemp fest is not going to be held this year. Massive costs including the city permits, paying bands a living wage Portable toilets if we want to make it more than one day. Load in and shut down if the city. finding a way to make the event free so no barricades or enclosures. So vendors and sponsors do not feel over priced. Finding the best way to manage it all is something I can not do alone.
Yet I am looking for individuals and like minds to maybe do something in 2025. If you believe in what we are doing. Let me know. Reach out to me. I would love to build a Committee that knows the risks and still believes in the cause. For me it was never making money. I just did not want to lose money. I wanted to share the positive aspects of cannabis. In the downtown streets in front of the court house. Yet. I still believe a cannabis festival in asheville is something that should continue. And should not be given up on.
